Privacy policy

Short version: your product information isn't stored, and your IP address isn't either.

While you use the tools

The tools work in your browser. Values, answers and package sizes you enter, and the previews, are worked out on your device. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics scripts and no tracking cookies.

Your answers are kept in your browser's session storage for this tab, so a page refresh doesn't lose them. They are deleted when you close the tab or choose “Start a new product”.

When you download

Print files are made by Karimont's server. To download a Nutrition Facts table, your browser sends the serving size and the nutrient values in the table, and the size version and language order you chose. The server draws the file, sends it back and doesn't keep the values. The product name you enter is only used for the file name and isn't sent. To download an FOP symbol, your browser sends only which symbol you chose.

Each tool allows two different downloads a day. To apply this, and to count how many different people use the tools, your IP address is turned into a one-way code; the IP address itself is not stored. For each day, the server keeps that code, how many downloads it made with each tool, and a short code for each table or symbol it downloaded (so downloading it again stays free). These records contain nothing about your product and are deleted after about 13 months.

Feedback you send

If you fill in the feedback form, we receive your suggestion, the price you chose, which tool you used and the date, plus your email address if you choose to give it. We use these only to improve the tools and, if you gave your email, to reply to you.
